Terms & Conditions – SinghXpress Courier Services

Effective Date: October 26, 2025

SinghXpress, a brand of Singh International Xpress, provides domestic and international courier and logistics services. By booking a shipment or using our services, you agree to the following legally binding Terms & Conditions.

1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction shall be Amritsar Court, Punjab, India.

2. Prohibited & Restricted Items

  • Cash, gold, silver, jewellery
  • Explosives, flammable liquids, chemicals
  • Drugs, narcotics, weapons
  • Hazardous or restricted goods under Indian or destination country law
  • Undeclared lithium batteries
Shipments containing prohibited items may be seized without compensation and may result in legal action.

3. Packaging Responsibility

The sender is responsible for proper and secure packaging. SinghXpress is not liable for internal damage, leakage, or breakage due to improper packing.

4. Weight & Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on actual weight or volumetric weight (Length × Breadth × Height ÷ 5000), whichever is higher.

If weight or dimensions are under-declared, additional charges must be paid before delivery.

5. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines are estimated and not guaranteed. Delays due to customs clearance, airline schedules, weather conditions, strikes, or government restrictions are beyond our control.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

The receiver is responsible for customs clearance, duties, taxes, and penalties. SinghXpress is not responsible for customs inspection, seizure, or government actions.

7. Returns (RTO) & Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, incorrectly addressed, or customs duties remain unpaid, return shipping charges will apply. Original freight charges are non-refundable.

8. Insurance

Insurance coverage is optional. Uninsured shipments travel strictly at sender’s risk.

9. Limitation of Liability – International Shipments

For all international shipments, SinghXpress liability is strictly limited to a maximum of ₹8,500 INR or the declared invoice value (whichever is lower), unless additional insurance has been purchased at the time of booking.

Compensation is applicable only in case of confirmed total loss of the shipment during transit.

No compensation shall be provided for:

  • Delay in delivery
  • Partial loss of contents
  • Fragile damage or internal breakage
  • Leakage or spoilage of perishable goods
  • Customs inspection, seizure, or government action
  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided by sender
  • Indirect, consequential, or business losses

Under no circumstances shall SinghXpress liability exceed the freight charges paid for the shipment.

All claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days along with valid supporting documentation.

10. Address Accuracy

The sender must provide complete and accurate address details including phone number and postal code. SinghXpress is not liable for delays or misdelivery due to incorrect information.

11. Inspection Rights

SinghXpress reserves the right to open and inspect any shipment for security or regulatory compliance without prior notice.

12. Force Majeure

SinghXpress shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, war, airline cancellation, or government restrictions.

13. Chargeback & Payment Disputes

Fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes after service completion will be legally contested. Recovery and administrative costs may be charged to the customer.

14. Acceptance

Booking a shipment confirms full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

15. Airline Delays & Flight Issues

International shipments are transported via third-party airlines and logistics networks. SinghXpress has no control over airline operations.

In case of flight delays, cancellations, cargo offloading, or airline operational issues, shipment movement may be delayed without prior notice.

No delivery timeline guarantee, compensation, refund, or claim shall be applicable for delays caused due to airline or transit hub issues.

Estimated delivery timelines provided at the time of booking shall be treated as indicative only and may change without notice under such circumstances.

16. Last-Mile Delivery & No Contact Policy

Final delivery of shipments is handled by third-party courier partners. Delivery procedures may vary depending on the destination country and courier policies.

Delivery may be completed without prior phone call, SMS, or notification. The delivery agent may leave the parcel at the doorstep, mailbox, reception, security desk, or any safe place near the delivery address.

In some cases, parcels may be received by neighbors, family members, security personnel, or any person available at or near the delivery location.

Proof of delivery (POD) as provided by the courier partner shall be final and binding.

Once the shipment is marked as delivered by the courier partner, it shall be considered successfully delivered.

SinghXpress shall not be responsible for:

  • Non-contact delivery or unattended delivery
  • Parcel left outside or in a safe place
  • Parcel received by another person
  • Misplacement, theft, or loss after delivery

No claims, refunds, or compensation shall be applicable once the shipment is marked delivered by the delivery partner.
